Allen, Coleman Hawkins, Lester Young, John Kirby and the countless others who
made 52nd Street ‘the street that never slept’.

where heat, excitement, creativity, swing and sheer entertainment are concerned!
PERSONNEL: Paul
Munnery – Trombone, Slide Guitar. Leader of vintage-style big band
Richard West – Piano.
Young musician of rare versatility, equally at home in piano styles of any era.
Rachel Hayward – Guitar,
Vibraphone. Apprenticed with Ken Pye’s Creole Serenaders. Has toured
extensively with Sammy Rimmington. Subsequently played with
Tony Sharp – Double bass.
Another graduate of Ken Pye’s Serenaders, with many years experience on the
Clarence Nugent – Drums.
Versatile performer, with many years experience in the world of New Orleans
Jazz, worked with Tim Newman, New Orleans Heat and Ken Colyer.
